Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • 1 oz coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
  • 1 oz peppermint schnapps
  • 1 oz crème de cacao (optional for extra chocolate)
  • 1 oz heavy cream or half and half
  • 1 tsp chocolate syrup, plus more for garnish
  • Crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings for garnish
  • Ice cubes (enough to fill shaker halfway)

Instructions

  1. Rim your martini glass with chocolate syrup, then dip it in crushed candy canes or chocolate shavings.
  2. Fill your shaker halfway with ice.
  3. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, peppermint schnapps, crème de cacao, cream, and chocolate syrup to the shaker.
  4. Shake hard for about 15–20 seconds until the shaker feels frosty.
  5. Strain into the prepared glass. Top with a mini candy cane or a sprinkle of chocolate if desired. Serve immediately.
