Description

Homemade Kind Nut Bars Packed with Flavor and Essential Crunch

Ingredients

Scale
  • 150 g mixed nuts (a combo of almonds, cashews, and peanuts)
  • 70 g mixed seeds (like pumpkin and sunflower)
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 4 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 40 g dark chocolate (melted and drizzled on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) or 160°C for a fan oven. Spread the mixed nuts evenly on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly toasted.
  2. Combine the honey and almond butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir until melted and blended smoothly.
  3. Mix the toasted nuts, seeds, and a pinch of sea salt in a large bowl. Pour the warm honey and almond butter mixture over the blend, and stir until coated.
  4. Line a 10×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture into the dish and press down firmly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Melt the dark chocolate and drizzle it over the set nut bars, then refrigerate for another 10 minutes.
  6. Cut the mixture into bars and store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
