Creamy Vegan Cheese Sauce That’ll Elevate Any Dish


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Cooked white beans
  • 1 cup Milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup Nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon White or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Buttery spread
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the white beans thoroughly under cool water.
  2. In a blender, combine the drained beans, milk, nutritional yeast, salt, and garlic powder. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour blended mixture into a medium-sized pot and add vegan shredded cheese if using.
  4. Place pot over low heat and stir occasionally, heating until warm and cheese is melted.
  5. If serving with pasta, stir in cooked pasta until coated in the sauce.
