Description

A cheesy, beefy, and delicious Taco Pasta recipe that combines the flavors of tacos with the comfort of pasta. This one-pot meal is quick, easy, and perfect for busy weeknights.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pasta (your favorite short pasta shape)
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef or turkey)
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of water to boil and cook the pasta according to package directions.
  2. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the rest of the pasta.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the ground meat over medium-high heat until browned.
  4. Drain any excess fat from the skillet and reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. Add taco seasoning and salsa to the skillet, mixing well.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and shredded cheddar cheese to the skillet.
  7. Gradually pour in the reserved pasta water while mixing until the cheese is melted and fully incorporated.
  8. Serve hot.
