Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lbs party wings/wingettes
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 ripe mangos cubed
- ½ cup butter
- 2 tsp garlic minced
- ¼ cup hot sauce
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 limes zested and juiced
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tbsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp kosher salt
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (or 400°F for air-frying). Line a half-sheet pan with parchment paper and set a wire rack on top. Spray the rack with non-stick spray.
- Pat dry the chicken wings to remove excess moisture. In a large bowl, drizzle the wings with 2 tablespoons of cooking oil and toss to coat.
- Season the wings with kosher salt, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper, and baking powder. Mix until evenly coated.
- Arrange the wings on the wire rack or in the air fryer, spaced out to allow hot air circulation. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway.
- Blend the sauce ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Toss the baked chicken wings in the heated sauce until fully coated. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
