- 1 teaspoon Five-spice powder
- 1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine
- 1 teaspoon Sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 1.5 tablespoons Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- White sesame seeds
- Chopped scallion
Instructions
- Debone the chicken thighs to ensure tender meat.
- Mix the soy sauce, five-spice powder, Chinese rice wine, sesame oil, and sugar in a bowl. Whisk until sugar is dissolved. Pour over chicken thighs.
- Heat a skillet over low to medium heat, add oil, then sauté garlic until light brown.
- Cook the chicken in the skillet, pouring in the reserved marinade. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until fully cooked through.
- Garnish chicken with sesame seeds and scallions before serving.
