Ingredients
- 12 ounces pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or your choice)

- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Zest of 1 large lemon
- Juice of 2 large lemons
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook, breaking it into pieces, until browned (5-7 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add lemon zest and lemon juice, stirring to combine.

- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Gradually add reserved pasta water if the sauce is too thick.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil and serve.
