  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and packed brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring gently until just combined—don’t overmix!
  4. Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped walnuts, and mini marshmallows to ensure an even distribution.
  5. Using a tablespoon, drop generous portions of dough onto a lined baking sheet with space between each scoop.
  6. Bake for 8 minutes, then carefully remove and gently press mini marshmallows into the tops. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes until slightly puffed.
  7. Allow cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet, then drizzle melted semi-sweet chocolate on top.
  8. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few more minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
