Description

Rice Krispies Brains are a fun and spooky dessert perfect for Halloween parties. These treats combine the classic flavor of Rice Krispies with a playful twist, mimicking brains with gooey marshmallows and red food coloring.


Ingredients

  • 5 cups Rice Krispies (132g)
  • ¼ cup Unsalted Butter (57g)
  • 1 10-oz bag Mini Marshmallows (283g)
  • Red Food Coloring (as desired)

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Place the Rice Krispies in a spacious bowl.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter over low heat, then add mini marshmallows and stir until melted.
  4. Mix in desired amount of red food coloring.
  5. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until coated in the marshmallow mixture.
  6. Using an ice cream scoop, portion the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and form into brain shapes.
  7. Make indents on top of each brain with a butter knife to enhance detail.
  8. Add drops of red food coloring with a paintbrush for decoration.
