- 1 Onion (thinly sliced)
- 1 Bell Pepper (sliced)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 inch piece Ginger (minced)
- 2 tablespoons Gochujang (adjust for less heat)
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 1 tablespoon Honey (or maple syrup for vegan)
- 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
- 1 tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds (optional)
- 2 Green Onions (sliced)
- 1 tablespoon Gochugaru (optional)
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add onions and bell peppers; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Include garlic and ginger; stir-fry for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Introduce the squid; cook for 2-3 minutes until it turns opaque.
- Mix gochujang, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and sesame oil in a bowl, then pour over the squid.
- Stir to coat and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat; garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.

- Adjust gochujang and gochugaru based on your heat preference.
