- 2.25 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Brown the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until it turns a deep golden color and releases a nutty aroma.
- Mix together the brown sugar, rolled oats, egg, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
- Gradually add the cooled browned butter and mix until just blended.
- Stir in the salt and all-purpose flour gently.
- Scoop the dough using a cookie scoop and drop it onto the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for about 6 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers look set.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for approximately 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.
