Instructions

  1. Cube the Tofu: Cut the extra-firm tofu into bite-sized cubes and place them on paper towels to absorb excess moisture.
  2. Press the Tofu: Cover with more paper towels, set a baking sheet on top, and weigh it down for 15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Marinade: Whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, maple syrup, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Marinate the Tofu: Place cubed tofu in a dish, pour the marinade over, ensure each piece is coated, cover, and marinate for at least 1 hour.
