  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Remove the leaves and trim the stem of the cauliflower, making sure the head stays intact.
  3. Place the cauliflower on a cutting board, stem side down, and slice into 1-inch thick steaks. You should get about 4 steaks from one head of cauliflower.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, sea salt, and black pepper to create a spice rub.
  5. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the spice mixture, ensuring they are well coated.
  6. Arrange the seasoned cauliflower steaks on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  7. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is tender and the edges are golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
