- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 8 large lettuce leaves
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
- Fresh dill for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped dill. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated. Refrigerate the sauce while you prepare the lamb.
- Cook the Lamb: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the olive oil and ground lamb, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until the lamb is browned and no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season the Lamb: Reduce the heat to medium. Add the cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the lamb. Stir thoroughly to ensure the lamb is evenly coated with the spices. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, then remove from heat.
