  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 4 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook until the chicken is browned and no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, steam the broccoli florets until just tender, about 3-4 minutes, and then drain any excess water.
  5. In a large bowl, mix the cooked ground chicken, steamed broccoli, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  7. Pour the heavy cream over the chicken and broccoli mixture and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown on top.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
