- 1 lb ground chicken
- 4 cups broccoli florets, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the onions until translucent, about 2-3 minutes. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground chicken to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, and cook until the chicken is browned and no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
- Meanwhile, steam the broccoli florets until just tender, about 3-4 minutes, and then drain any excess water.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked ground chicken, steamed broccoli, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Pour the heavy cream over the chicken and broccoli mixture and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
