- 12 oz Imitation crab meat
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 large Egg (beaten)
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 stalks Green onions (chopped)
- 1/4 cup Fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 2 tbsp Oil for frying
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl: imitation crab meat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until everything is just combined.
- Chill the mixture by covering it and placing it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of oil to coat the bottom.
- Form the crab mixture into patties that are about 2-3 inches in diameter. Gently place them in the skillet.
- Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and heated through.
- Drain the cooked crab cakes by placing them on a plate lined with paper towels.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce and garnishes. Enjoy!
