  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound mussels, cleaned
  • 1 pound white fish (e.g., cod or haddock), cut into chunks
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent. Stir in minced garlic and red bell pepper, cooking for a few more minutes.
  3. Pour in diced tomatoes with their juices and stir.
  4. Add vegetable broth, dried oregano, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Add white fish pieces and cook for about 5 minutes.
  7. Add shrimp and mussels. Cover and cook until mussels open and shrimp turn pink, about 5-7 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley.
  9. Ladle the stew into bowls and serve with lemon wedges.
