Hearty ground beef mixed with potatoes and creamy soups, topped with melted cheddar for a simple, satisfying one-dish meal.

- 900 g to 1 kg ground beef
- 300 g condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 300 g condensed cream of cheddar cheese soup
- 360 g frozen cubed potatoes
- 120 g shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Set oven temperature to 175°C and allow to fully preheat.
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat thoroughly.
- Transfer cooked beef to a large mixing bowl. Add condensed cream of mushroom soup, condensed cream of cheddar cheese soup, frozen cubed potatoes, 60 g of the shredded cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Stir until evenly combined.
- Lightly grease a 23 x 33 cm baking dish. Spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared dish.
- Sprinkle the remaining 60 g shredded cheddar cheese over the surface. Cover the dish tightly with aluminium foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Carefully remove foil, then continue baking for an additional 30 minutes or until the casserole is heated through and cheese is bubbly and golden.
