Ingredients
Scale
- 12 ounces gluten free fettuccine
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 ½ cups half and half
- 1 ½ cups fresh grated parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon parsley
- Chopped parsley to serve
Instructions
- Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a vigorous boil. Cook the gluten-free fettuccine according to the package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
- In a medium skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Reduce the heat to low and slowly whisk in the half and half. Add the fresh grated parmesan cheese, salt, and a pinch of black pepper, whisking until creamy and smooth.
- Drain the cooked fettuccine and add it to the sauce. Toss everything together until the pasta is coated with the Alfredo sauce. Adjust seasoning with salt if desired.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust salt to taste.
- Use fresh parmesan for best results.
