  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce (tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil (vegetable oil as a lighter alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger (ground ginger can be used)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced for best flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (to prevent sticking)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce (for dipping)
  • 2 tablespoons Additional green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground meat or finely chopped vegetables with chopped green onions, minced garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
  2. Take a dumpling wrapper and place a spoonful of your prepared filling in the center. Moisten the edges with a little water, fold over, and firmly pinch to seal securely.
  3. Choose your cooking method: steam, boil, or pan-fry the dumplings. If steaming, cook for about 5-10 minutes until the wrappers become translucent.
  4. Plate the dumplings and sprinkle some chopped green onions on top for garnish. Serve with soy sauce mixed with rice vinegar or spicy chili oil.
