  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips (vegan for plant-based)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch pan by greasing it with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Blend the chickpeas, nut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a food processor until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips carefully to ensure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  4. Transfer the batter into your prepared pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle some additional chocolate chips and coarse sea salt on top of the batter.
  6. Bake the blondies for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges start to brown slightly and a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Cool the blondies for 20 minutes in the pan before cutting them into squares.
