- 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips (vegan for plant-based)
- 1/2 teaspoon Coarse Sea Salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8 inch pan by greasing it with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.
- Blend the chickpeas, nut butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a food processor until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Fold in the chocolate chips carefully to ensure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
- Transfer the batter into your prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Sprinkle some additional chocolate chips and coarse sea salt on top of the batter.
- Bake the blondies for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges start to brown slightly and a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Cool the blondies for 20 minutes in the pan before cutting them into squares.
