Irresistible Double Chocolate Brownie Truffles to Indulge In

- ½ cup Nellie’s Free Range Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
- ¾ cup Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 2 large Nellie’s Free Range Eggs
- ½ cup All-Purpose or Whole Grain Oat Flour
- 1½ cups Chocolate Chips, Chopped Chocolate, or Candy Melts
- White and Silver Nonpareil Sprinkles
- Crushed candy cane pieces
- Candy Eyes and/or Chocolate Sprinkles
- Multi Chocolate Drizzle
- Chopped Nuts (optional)
- Cocoa Nibs (optional)
- Sea Salt (optional)
- Traditional Cocoa Powder (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Melt the butter and dark chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave. Mix until smooth and cool for 5-10 minutes.
- Prepare an 8” square pan by lining it with parchment paper and greasing it with baking spray.
- Whisk together sugar, salt, vanilla, and eggs until smooth.
- Combine the melted chocolate mixture with the wet ingredients.
- Mix in the flour until just incorporated.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35-38 minutes.
- Cool the brownies for about 1 hour.
- Loosen brownies from the pan and cut into ½” pieces.
- Break brownies into crumbs and form 1.5” dough balls.
- Arrange truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Melt chocolate for coating and dip each truffle until fully coated.
- Let excess chocolate drip off and decorate as desired.
- Let truffles set completely for a few hours before enjoying.
