Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cottage cheese (preferably low-fat)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried herbs (such as oregano or Italian seasoning)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, dried herbs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Scoop small mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet using a spoon or a small ice cream scoop. Space each about 2 inches apart, and flatten each mound slightly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let the chips cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Serve and enjoy your crispy cottage cheese chips on their own or with your favorite dip!
Notes
- For extra crispy chips, drain your cottage cheese slightly if it seems too wet.
- Experiment with different cheese types, like cheddar or mozzarella, to switch up the flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 1-2 days; re-crisp in a 300°F oven for 5-7 minutes if needed.
