Ingredients

  • 8 oz bowtie pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups spinach (fresh)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and fresh spinach to the skillet. Toss everything together until the spinach wilts and pasta is evenly coated in the sauce.
  6. Season with crushed red pepper flakes if desired, and serve hot with extra Parmesan cheese on top.
