- 1 package of fresh or frozen ravioli (preferably cheese-filled)
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the ravioli and cook according to package instructions until they are al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the broccoli florets and blanch them for about 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender. Remove and rinse immediately in cold water to stop the cooking process.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Allow it to simmer for about 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Toss the cooked ravioli and blanched broccoli into the skillet with the sauce. Gently mix until everything is well coated.
- Transfer to serving plates and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
