Delicious Cream Cheese Wontons that elevate any gathering.
Ingredients

- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Scallions
- 20 pieces Wonton Wrappers
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil
- 3 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1 tsp Sriracha (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sugar, salt, and chopped scallions. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Dampen the edges of your wonton wrappers with a little water. Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center, fold into a triangle shape, and pinch the edges to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a small pot to 375°F (190°C). Fry the wontons in batches for about 2 minutes, until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, water, honey, sesame oil, and Sriracha (if using). Serve alongside your wontons.
Notes
- Optional: Garnish with chopped scallions for a fresh touch.
- Fry in small batches to maintain oil temperature.
- Assemble uncooked wontons ahead of time and freeze them for convenience.
