Description

Savory Cowboy Breakfast Sliders featuring sausage, eggs, and cheese on fluffy biscuits. An easy and hearty breakfast perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 biscuits (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Optional: hot sauce or salsa for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the breakfast sausage until browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until well combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the sausage. Stir gently over medium-low heat until the eggs are fully cooked and scrambled. Remove from heat.
  5. If using store-bought biscuits, bake them according to package instructions until golden brown. If using homemade biscuits, prepare them as per your recipe.
  6. Once the biscuits are ready, remove them from the oven and slice them in half horizontally.
  7. Place the bottom halves of the biscuits in the prepared baking dish. Spoon the sausage and egg mixture evenly over them. Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Place the top halves of the biscuits on the filled bottoms to complete the sliders.
  9. In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Brush it generously over the tops of the sliders.
  10. Place the baking dish in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
