Description

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer, covering the entire baking sheet evenly.
  2. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Set aside for later use.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar and stir until fully dissolved. Continue cooking until the mixture begins to bubble.
  4. Once the caramel mixture is bubbling, let it cook for an additional 2 minutes. Carefully pour the hot caramel sauce over the arranged saltines, using a spatula to spread it evenly if necessary.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the caramel is bubbling and turns a darker color.
  6. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and immediately sprinkle white chocolate chips over the hot caramel layer. Let the chips sit for about 5 minutes to melt.
