- 28 oz Diced Tomatoes (fire-roasted preferred)
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Roma Tomatoes (diced)
- 1 tsp Onion Powder

- 4 tbsp Queso Cheese Dip

- Transfer the cooked beef to a stock pot, add diced tomatoes, brown sugar, Roma tomatoes, onion powder, chili seasoning, tomato paste, cumin, chili powder, black beans, and pinto beans. Stir well, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for about 1 hour.
- Shape the remaining ground beef into 4 equal-sized burger patties (about ¾ inch thick). Season with salt and pepper.
- On a preheated grill or skillet, cook the patties for about 7 minutes on each side, adding American cheese in the last minute to melt.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a cheese-covered patty on the bottom half of the buns, topping with chili, queso cheese dip, and crispy onion strings. Serve immediately.
