Ingredients
- 250 grams cooked chicken, shredded
- 240 milliliters Alfredo sauce
- 100 grams mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 450 grams refrigerated pizza dough
- All-purpose flour, for dusting
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, for brushing
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, shredded mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the chicken is evenly coated.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the refrigerated pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 6 millimeters thick. Cut the dough into 4 equal squares.
- Spoon about 80 milliliters of the chicken Alfredo filling into the center of each dough square, leaving a border.
- Fold one corner of the dough over the filling to meet the opposite corner, creating a triangle shape. Press the edges firmly to seal. You can crimp the edges with a fork for extra security.
- Brush the tops of the calzones with olive oil. Beat the egg and lightly brush it over each calzone to give them a golden, glossy finish.
- Place the calzones in the air fryer basket, ensuring there is space between them for air circulation.
- Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the calzones are golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
- Remove the calzones from the air fryer and let them rest for 1 minute before serving.

- For an extra crispy crust, you can lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray before adding the calzones.
