Ingredients

  • 18 rolls Rhodes dinner rolls (defrost and cut into fourths)
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil (adds richness and helps bind)
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup Onion (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon Minced garlic (for flavor)
  • 4 oz Diced chiles (drained)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic salt (enhances flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon Basil (for freshness)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (for additional flavor)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen Rhodes dinner rolls in an aluminum pan and let them sit for 45 minutes until soft.
  2. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, drained diced chiles, shredded cheese, diced onions, and seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Cut each softened dinner roll into four equal pieces and toss in the filling mixture.
  4. Lightly spray the pan with non-stick spray and pour the mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly.
  5. Cover with aluminum foil and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat the smoker to 350°F, then smoke the covered tray for 40 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes for a golden brown top.
  8. Once finished, serve warm and enjoy!
