- 18 rolls Rhodes dinner rolls (defrost and cut into fourths)
- 1/4 cup Olive oil (adds richness and helps bind)
- 1.5 cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 1/2 cup Onion (diced)
- 1 tablespoon Minced garlic (for flavor)
- 4 oz Diced chiles (drained)
- 1 teaspoon Garlic salt (enhances flavor)
- 1 teaspoon Basil (for freshness)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (for additional flavor)
Instructions
- Place the frozen Rhodes dinner rolls in an aluminum pan and let them sit for 45 minutes until soft.
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, drained diced chiles, shredded cheese, diced onions, and seasoning. Stir until well mixed.
- Cut each softened dinner roll into four equal pieces and toss in the filling mixture.
- Lightly spray the pan with non-stick spray and pour the mixture into the pan, spreading it evenly.
- Cover with aluminum foil and let it rise in a warm spot for 1 to 1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the smoker to 350°F, then smoke the covered tray for 40 minutes.
- Remove the foil and continue cooking for an additional 10 minutes for a golden brown top.
- Once finished, serve warm and enjoy!
