- 350g cheese tortellini
- 1 sliced onion
- 1 sliced green bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 480 milliliters whole milk
- 100g shredded provolone cheese
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add onions and green peppers. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until soft.
- Add butter to the skillet and let it melt. Sprinkle in flour and whisk for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Gradually pour in milk, whisking to prevent lumps. Cook until thickened.
- Add provolone cheese gradually, whisking until melted.
- Return beef, onions, peppers, and tortellini to the skillet. Fold together until well combined and heated through.
