  • 350g cheese tortellini
  • 1 sliced onion
  • 1 sliced green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 480 milliliters whole milk
  • 100g shredded provolone cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add tortellini and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and green peppers. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until soft.
  4. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt. Sprinkle in flour and whisk for 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. Gradually pour in milk, whisking to prevent lumps. Cook until thickened.
  6. Add provolone cheese gradually, whisking until melted.
  7. Return beef, onions, peppers, and tortellini to the skillet. Fold together until well combined and heated through.
