Ingredients

  • Beef tenderloin – 1 lb
  • Creole seasoning – 2 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Mushrooms – 8 oz, sliced
  • Onion powder – 1 tsp
  • Paprika – 1 tsp
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp
  • Butter – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Combine Creole seasoning, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper in a medium bowl.
  2. Cut beef tenderloin into roughly 1½ inch by 1 inch pieces.
  3. Mix beef pieces with sliced mushrooms, spice mixture, and oil in a bowl until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for 30 to 90 minutes.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  5. Cook the beef and mushroom mixture in two batches for approximately 8 minutes per batch.
  6. Remove from the air fryer and toss with butter.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt or Creole seasoning if desired.

  • Check for doneness at 6 minutes the first time.
  • Let meat rest at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking.
