Description

Zesty Cajun Fish Tacos for a Flavor-Packed Dinner Night

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fillets frozen lemon butter grilled fish
  • 4 cups broccoli coleslaw mix
  • 1 medium sweet orange pepper (thinly sliced)
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning (plus more for serving)
  • 4 pieces whole pita breads (warmed)
  • 1 each lemon wedges

Instructions

  1. Cook the frozen lemon butter grilled fish fillets according to the package directions until they’re heated through and flaky.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the broccoli coleslaw mix, thinly sliced sweet orange pepper, mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, and 1-1/2 teaspoons of Cajun seasoning until everything is well combined and creamy.
  3. Carefully slice the cooked fish fillets into bite-sized pieces, allowing each piece to soak up the flavors.
  4. Take the warm pita breads and spoon a generous amount of the coleslaw mixture onto each one, followed by the sliced fish on top.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining Cajun seasoning over the tacos, adding that extra zing. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for a zesty finish.
