Savoring the Perfect Boxing Day Bagel Delight at Home


Ingredients

  • 1 Egg
  • Slices of Turkey
  • 20 g Melting Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Cream Cheese
  • 10 g Rocket
  • 1 tsp Chilli Sauce (Optional)
  • Leftover Roast Veg or Potatoes
  • Leftover Stuffing

Instructions

  1. Start by shaping your leftover stuffing into a patty that fits snugly in your bagel. Place this patty into the air fryer basket for an initial crisp.
  2. Set your air fryer to preheat at 165°C (or 329°F) for 6 minutes.
  3. Carefully slice the bagel in half. Cut a square of baking paper just big enough for the bottom half of the bagel.
  4. Sprinkle a bit of melting cheese into the bagel cavity. Crack the egg into the hole and add more cheese.
  5. Transfer the bagel on the baking paper into the air fryer basket. Cook for 6 minutes for a perfectly soft yolk.
  6. Spread cream cheese and chilli sauce on the bottom half of the bagel. Layer on the stuffing and sliced turkey and pop into the air fryer for 2 minutes.
  7. Once done, add rocket on top of the stuffing and turkey. Place the top half on the rocket and serve hot.
