- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for brûléed topping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the unbaked pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, heavy cream, milk, eggs, bourbon, vanilla extract, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until smooth and well combined.
- Carefully pour the pumpkin filling into the prepared pie crust.
- Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the filling is set and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, remove the pie from the oven and let it cool at room temperature for about 1 hour.
- After the pie has cooled, sprinkle the granulated sugar evenly over the top of the pie. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until it becomes golden and crispy.
