Instructions

  1. Prepare the filling: Cook semolina, milk, sugar, and vanilla until thickened for sweet custard. Mix mizithra cheese with sugar for savory filling.
  2. Layer phyllo: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush a baking dish with butter. Layer phyllo sheets, brushing each with butter, aiming for at least six layers.
