Description
Crispy corn tortillas topped with succulent shrimp, guacamole, and pico de gallo, all drizzled with a creamy, spicy Bang Bang sauce. These Bang Bang Shrimp Tostadas are a flavorful and quick summer treat perfect for any gathering.

- 1 lb Raw deveined peeled shrimp
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 tbsp Chili powder
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 1 tsp Onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- Canola oil for frying
- 8 Corn tortillas
- 2 Avocados
- 1 Tomato, chopped
- 1 clove Garlic, minced
- 1/4 Onion, chopped
- 1 Jalapeno, chopped
- 1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup Sweet chili sauce
- 1–2 tbsp Sriracha
Instructions
- Fry corn tortillas in oil until golden brown and crispy, or bake at 400°F for 10 minutes, brushing with oil. Set aside.
- Marinate shrimp in buttermilk, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mash avocados and mix with minced garlic, diced onion, chopped tomato, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, and salt for guacamole.
- Combine diced tomatoes, bell pepper, minced onion, chopped garlic, cilantro, lime juice, and salt for pico de gallo.
- Toss marinated shrimp in cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Fry coated shrimp in hot oil for 2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Mix mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha for the Bang Bang sauce, reserving some for drizzling.
- Assemble tostadas by spreading guacamole on tortillas, topping with shrimp, pico de gallo, and drizzling with Bang Bang sauce.
