These banana oatmeal bars are a healthy snack or breakfast item made with whole food ingredients.
Ingredients

- 1 cup banana (mashed)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (light)
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cup whole oats
- 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350℉.
- In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together minus the oats, chocolate chips and walnut until smooth.
- Fold in the walnut, oats and chocolate chips.
- Add the batter into a lined baking pan and smooth the top.
- Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, checking around 20 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely before serving.
