Description

These banana oatmeal bars are a healthy snack or breakfast item made with whole food ingredients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup banana (mashed)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (light)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cup whole oats
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350℉.
  2. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together minus the oats, chocolate chips and walnut until smooth.
  3. Fold in the walnut, oats and chocolate chips.
  4. Add the batter into a lined baking pan and smooth the top.
  5. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 25 minutes, checking around 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely before serving.
