- 1 cup brewed chamomile tea, cooled
- 1 large ripe banana
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup milk or plant-based alternative
- Ice cubes (optional)
- Dried chamomile leaves for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Brew a cup of chamomile tea using a tea bag or loose chamomile flowers. Steep for 5 minutes, then allow to cool completely.
- Peel the banana and break into chunks. Measure out the honey and milk.
- In a blender, combine the cooled chamomile tea, banana chunks, honey, and milk. Add ice cubes if desired for a colder consistency.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. Adjust consistency with additional milk if needed.
- Pour into a glass and garnish with dried chamomile leaves if desired.
Notes
- This smoothie can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
- For a thicker smoothie, use a frozen banana.
- Milk alternatives like almond milk, coconut milk, or oat milk work well.
