Description

Easy Baked Churro Bites offer a delightful way to enjoy classic churro flavors in a convenient, bite-sized format without frying. These treats are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and coated in cinnamon sugar, making them perfect for parties or a sweet snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (plus extra for coating)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (plus extra for coating)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, combine the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft and slightly sticky dough forms.
  5. Using your hands, roll the dough into small bite-sized balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the churro bites are lightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let the churro bites cool for about 5 minutes.
  8. In a small bowl, mix together the extra granulated sugar and cinnamon. Roll the warm churro bites in the mixture until they are fully coated.
