A savory ground beef bake with cream cheese, cheddar, bacon and burger flavors that satisfies without the carbs.

- 450 g ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 115 g cream cheese
- 120 ml heavy cream
- 60 g shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon sugar free ketchup
- 2 large eggs
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 60 g shredded mozzarella cheese
- 60 g shredded cheddar cheese
- Chopped pickles for garnish
- Sliced green onions or chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C. Lightly grease a 20 x 20 cm baking dish.
- Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat with onion and garlic until meat is no longer pink. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together cream cheese, heavy cream, mustard, sugar free ketchup, eggs, and shredded cheddar until smooth.
- Evenly pour the cheese mixture over the beef layer in the dish.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon, mozzarella, and additional cheddar across the surface. Garnish with pickles and herbs if desired.
- Bake in preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes until golden and bubbling. Allow to rest for several minutes before slicing and serving.
