Description
Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Fries are a crispy, flavorful side dish or snack that’s easy to prepare and lighter than traditional deep-fried versions.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large russet potatoes, peeled or scrubbed clean
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish
- Optional: minced fresh garlic for a stronger garlic flavor
Instructions
- Cut the potatoes into thin fries, about ¼ inch thick. Soak them in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them very dry with a towel.
- In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Place the fries in the basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
- Transfer the hot fries to a bowl and immediately toss with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. Add more salt if needed and serve right away.
Notes
- For a stronger garlic flavor, add minced fresh garlic.
