Description

Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Fries are a crispy, flavorful side dish or snack that’s easy to prepare and lighter than traditional deep-fried versions.


Ingredients

  • 2 large russet potatoes, peeled or scrubbed clean
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish
  • Optional: minced fresh garlic for a stronger garlic flavor

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes into thin fries, about ¼ inch thick. Soak them in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them very dry with a towel.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F. Place the fries in the basket in a single layer, working in batches if necessary. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.
  4. Transfer the hot fries to a bowl and immediately toss with grated Parmesan and chopped parsley. Add more salt if needed and serve right away.
